Many middle eastern and Turkic languages are dying because the older speakers are dying and not teaching the younger generations.

The concerns about the Malay language are related to the decline in speakers.

A major reason why languages are dying is the older generations who know how to speak the languages, do not teach the younger generations.

So, when they die, the newer people will lose touch with the language. Globalization is another common reason that explains why languages are dying out.
